I like the word inform. If you take it apart and read it as in form, it says a lot about what life is about. What goes into us forms us. We are here on this planet to be in-formed, to be “created” through the process of learning, yet we are in the curious position of being able to choose what forms us. So we are both creating ourselves and being created at the same time.

We all want to be informed, but by what? Whatever we give our attention to is literally forming us. It is shaping or creating us.

In our time, the individual can choose the source of information. This might not always be the case, however. It is important that people be informed in ways that make them better, not worse, human beings. We must do this while we can still choose, while information is still available that can teach us to become what we should be, rather than simply consumers of goods or lab rats for the ultra-elite. In the age of in-formation, it is important to seek true sources. We will be formed by what we take in, so we must choose wisely, according to what we truly want to become.

Time is short. What we are made into here is what we will become in the future.

Listen to the sound of the wind through the grass when there is no other sound. Watch the light play through the branches of the winter trees. Listen to the promise made to you in your innermost being by the innermost forces of creation. Read the great books that teach the true value of humanity and our purpose on Earth. This is true information, given to us through a process designed to lift human beings from the material realm into the spiritual.

The sounds of Babel are all around us, shouting hate, fear, and doom. The voice of AI is everywhere, threatening to tear down the warmth of heart and spirit that binds us to purpose and life. But these things can never drive out the truth written in the sky and in the hearts of those who seek goodness and truth above material possessions or pragmatic theorizing.

Don’t allow mis-in-formation to determine who and what you can become. We can choose to be in-formed by the Spirit, rather than shaped solely by the wave of mechanization sweeping over us.
