The "Program" of Our Destiny and How to Read it

Between death and a new birth, the human soul travels through the planetary spheres, the "Midnight Hour" is the pinnacle of this journey
The Midnight Hour and the Red Thread are the two bookends of human destiny. One explains how we "program" our future from the spiritual world, and the other is how we "read" that program while living on Earth.
Now, before entering further into this subject of "self-discovery," it should be mentioned that to identify too much with our "selves" as they are, without attaining a "spiritualized" view of oneself, this could lead to simply seeking a re-enforcement of our assumptions and convictions. Therefore, this notion of "spiritualization" must be well understood.
If we identify all too well with our physical reality, without grasping the spiritual nature, and substance, of our inner world and what it contains, in terms of thoughts, emotions, feelings, and sensations, etc, we tend to seek to place the spiritual at the service of our all too earthly expectations. It is therefore imperative to come to a lived experience of the notion of the "I" as a spiritual reality and core of our being, detached from all that is in fact non-I. While the "I", seen from the outside, is the point of our attention. As such merely a "point" indeed, but when closely looked at, this point is a very peculiar thing: it is indeed at the same time "perception" (or what "perception" entails) and will, as it can be directed here or there, expand and contract, and even be placed beyond the boundaries of our very skins.
Therefore all these operations that follow, in the context of "biography work" need to be understood not as a "bringing home" of the spiritual in the sphere of life as we know it, but we should rather aim to "grow" into the true complexity of life as it exists within the broader spiritual-cosmic context.
Between death and a new birth, the human soul travels through the planetary spheres. The "Midnight Hour" is the pinnacle of this journey—the furthest point from Earthly existence. * The Great Reversal: At this moment, the soul stops looking back at the life it just finished and begins looking forward. It is a "U-turn" in cosmic consciousness. * The Cosmic Blueprint: In collaboration with higher Hierarchies (the Archai and Seraphim), you view your past mistakes not as "sins," but as proposals for growth. * Building the Future: You actually help "weave" your future destiny. You choose the parents, the era, and the challenges that will allow you to balance your karma. * The Paradox: Because this happens in a realm of "Duration" (beyond linear time), the "Midnight Hour" is both a single moment and a vast, eternal process of becoming.
Once we are born, we "forget" the Midnight Hour. The Red Thread is the visible trace of that forgotten spiritual plan. To find it, you must apply Goethean observation to your own life.
The Mirroring Technique (7-Year Cycles) Steiner noted that life "folds" around the age of 33 (the Christ Year). Events in the first half of life often reappear in a "metamorphosed" form in the second half. * 0–7 (Physical growth) <—> 56–63 (Spiritual ripening): The forces that built your teeth and bones in childhood are "released" in your 60s to become forces of wisdom. * 7–14 (Feeling/Habits) <—> 49–56 (Social/Mentorship): The way you learned to relate to authority as a child mirrors how you handle power or teaching in your 50s. * 14–21 (Thinking/Identity) <—> 42–49 (Soul Crisis/Rebirth): The "storm and stress" of puberty often returns as the "Midlife Crisis," where you must find your true identity again, but from the inside out.
Look for the Moon Nodes (every 18.6 years: ages 18, 37, 56). * At these points, the "heavens open" slightly. * Unexpected people or "coincidences" appear that pull you back toward your original "Midnight Hour" intent. * Ask yourself: "Who entered my life at age 18 or 37 that changed my direction?" That is your Red Thread pulling you.
How to "Think" the Red Thread
To see the thread, one must move from the "What" to the "How."
* Don't ask: "Why did I lose that job?" (Spatial/Logical thinking).
* Ask: "What was the gesture of that loss?" Was it a "Contraction" that forced you to go inward, or an "Expansion" that forced you to move to a new city?
* Follow the Gesture: If you see the same "gesture" (e.g., being forced to start over) appearing at 21, 28, and 35, you have found a Time-Loop in your destiny.
By observing these patterns, one begin to "awaken in Time." You realize you aren't a victim of circumstances, but a Time-Being fulfilling a contract you wrote during the Midnight Hour. Yet, we are not merely "fulfilling" but eventually using the template thus provided by destiny, to make something new out of it. While destiny or karma as a given is called "Moon Karma", and what we do with it is called "Sun Karma." This is where freedom comes in. Some people arrive with the most difficult of circumstances and conditions, and still make something remarkable out of it. While others may well have the best of circumstances, yet still succeed in failing to make the best of it. It is then a matter of finding the inner strength, the "I", and to work even through the inner soul and habit hindrances which may seem already in place.
This should be added to prevent from "abdicating to destiny".
