While the laws that materialistic science extracts as dead, black-and-white data are actually the vibrant, colored, living principles holding the world together.

Their thinking activity has lost its centering axis. In trying to deconstruct old structures, their thinking becomes entirely fluid and formless. It dissolves the actual, intrinsic lawfulness of the world (biology, history, civilization) into a cloud of subjective sentiment. In both cases, the "I" is absent from the thinking activity. Because people cannot see their own thinking, they are entirely blind to the fact that they are reacting to cartoons—caricatures manufactured to exploit their lower-astral impulses. The "perceptive gap" is the sudden, jarring realization that neither of these thought-habits connects with actual reality.
Materialistic science claims that the brain produces thoughts the way an organ produces a fluid secretion. This reductionism has a direct, devastating signature in our economic reality: the modern economy treats value as a fiction to be manipulated, rather than an objective reality.
When a president can move billions of dollars in stock value with a single, impulsive social media post, we are witnessing the outer manifestation of "thought as a mere secretion." Because the culture believes thoughts and announcements are just arbitrary, subjective inputs, the economy becomes a playground for oligarchs.
A leader operating purely on "likes and dislikes" cannot perceive the inherent, objective lawfulness of macroeconomics (such as the actual flow of tariffs and trade). They treat complex global networks as if they are personal, subjective reactions.
This is the direct result of a consciousness that has never broken through the illusions of the threshold; it is a mind completely imprisoned within its own skull, projecting its internal chaos onto the world stage.
This whole question is then also more complex, but by by starting to stamp out the principles at work within the phenomena of this world, be they governance or economic questions, society can again get a grasp on these chaotic, and otherwise incomprehensible aspects, while getting centred back into reality.
