A fundamental elucidation as to the spiritual nature of the world
That eye which can inwardly see is our 'I'.
That eye which can inwardly see is our 'I'.
A fundamental elucidation as to the spiritual nature of the world and of the inner world
It is not THE idea or AN idea that lies at the basis of everything..
An idea as we see it, is often treated like any other object, and THAT is materialism.
While hereby one doesn't LOOK at "the" idea (any idea), but rather speculate (or think) about the idea..
Now, here we will not THINK about the idea (or an idea) we will look at it, at one, whichever one..
An idea has a very different SUBSTANCE than everything else (of the physical world).
An idea has (in its substance) very different PROPERTIES than things of the physical visible world.
Ideas cannot be seen in the physical world, they can only be seen in the inner world. Because that is where they belong, they belong to the inner world.
While the inner world is of a SUBSTANCE with the same PROPERTIES as the idea.
Now the inner world is of an entirely different NATURE than the outer physical world. An idea can form and reform itself at will. The entire inner world is "subtle" as we say, in that it is non-material.
This difference in PROPERTIES and SUBSTANCE of the inner world with the outer world needs to be seen. In the inner world thoughts and ideas can arise, emotions and sensations can arise, memories and images can arise. These are all of a "subtle" nature..
The inner world can REFLECT or "recreate" the outer world. Would we only have the outer world and not the inner world where thought appears, we would be daft. Because it is the inner world that tells us what we see.
The inner world, namely thought and ideas identify what is perceived through the senses... And THAT is amongst the functions of the inner world.
The inner world is a spiritual world WITHIN the world.
Just as the inner world is a spiritual world within the physical human being..
So ALSO does the world in general, namely the big wide world HAVE an inner world.. THE spiritual world is the INNER world of the world at large.
The human INNER world and THE spiritual world are made of entirely different properties than the physical world. This HAS TO be observed!
Everything in the inner world is fluid. In the beginning, when starting to observe this inner world, this inner world may appear flat, grey, even demonic. It is because it is seen through our Double also called the Lower Guardian of the Threshold.
The more one "visits" this inner world, the more it becomes familiar, the more it changes, and can be seen as a spiritual world. Much depends on what one PUTS in this inner world, which thoughts, images and experiences are being brought in.
It is like a garden: it will produce according to how it is treated.. Weeds and chaos can grow, and overgrow it. Or it can also bloom, let light and order in, and display the great variety of plants orderly so that they all can properly unfold.
But within, the human being carries a world of a special nature. Even.., HOW it is "cultivated" will change its nature. Thoughts, ideas, are fluid and can change into any thought or idea at any moment.
It is a fluid world. It cannot be grasped by the hands. It cannot be seen with the eyes.
It is only the inner eye, namely the "eye" that can look at an inner image, that can see into this inner world. This eye is us, it is who we really are, it is our being. That eye which can inwardly see is our 'I'.
We are "in" the seeing. The seeing is a focal point of our being. Now since we carry an inner spiritual world IN the physical world, and given that it is in this inner world that our essential nature lies, it must be seen that it is THIS essential nature or world which SHAPES our physical being from conception onwards.
We appear as this physical being that we are, because it has been shaped out of the layers of our being that exists before birth, and which we carry within as our inner world. And it exists before birth, while it just completed its afterlife journey in the afterlife.
There, at birth, our being appears again in the physical world, as it produces a physical body, similar to how ice appears into water. So we don't need to look for the essence of the world.
The essence of the world lies within, we just have to LOOK at it.
And correspondingly, it lies also IN the world, as it is of same essence and properties as the interiority of the world as such. The essence of our being and the essence of the world are one. They are differentiated, but they are of identical PROPERTIES.
AND just as our inner being, our inner world and essence brings forth the body, so does the spiritual world bring about the world as it is.
This means that the spiritual world is extremely complex, to bring about such a complex physical world. This means that there is not just some abstract "consciousness" that brought everything forth.
Rather, it means that the process of evolution and Creation is a gradual one, and a complex one.
And it is truly a divine process, while this "interiority" of the world surpasses infinitely what human beings can think or imagine.
People in past times always have sought to get a glimpse of these divine spiritual worlds, which were called heavens, and which indeed to various degrees have been seen.
In our time, more than ever these worlds are "closed" and rendered invisible. Yet nowhere before is this heavenly spiritual world as consciously accessible as in our time..
While to understand the world, each and every single moment, we wander through heavens without seeing it. But this, we can learn to see.. And many already do...
